With post-exilic motif (reconstruction) being the most dominant, the need to focus on its genesis, methodologies, and concerns is critically important. Given this, this chapter seeks to demonstrate that a reconstruction, as an African theological motif, is an all-inclusive entity that seeks to philosophically and pragmatically address the African challenges of the 21st century without rendering other motifs obsolete. Thus, it is a theological trajectory that is all-embracing and at home with other theo-social motifs that informs African Christianity in the 21st century.}, pages = {16 pp}, booktitle = {The Routledge Handbook of African Theology}, publisher = {Routledge}, author = {Gathogo, Julius}, date = {2020}, }
