In May 2021, over 20 million users have registered across the globe, using the platform to share, discover and discuss research across disciplines. Its mission is to connect the world of science and make research open to all. ResearchGate.net operates on the following principles. It allows users to: (i) Share publications, access millions more, and publish your data. (ii) Connect and collaborate with colleagues, peers, co-authors, and specialists. (iii) Get stats and find out who's been reading and citing their work. (iv) Ask questions, get answers, and solve research problems. (v) Find the right job using their research-focused job board. (vi) Share updates about their current project and keep up with the latest research.
