Pan-African Theology Roundtable: "'One thing God has spoken; two things I have heard' (Ps 62:11): Interpreting the Bible within Pluri-textual Contexts in Africa"

Speaker: Dr. Michael Kodzo Mensah

Location: Zoom (register at https://bit.ly/patrs)

Date: Tuesday 13 February 2024, 19.00 GMT

Join us for the next edition of the monthly Pan-African Theology Roundtable featuring guest speaker Michael Kodzo Mensah. Dr Mensah will be exploring the reception of the Bible in Africa which has always happened within a pluri-religious context. Since it is not uncommon to have persons of different faiths live peaceably in the same family in Africa, Dr Mensah will be imagining what hermeneutical implications this may have for reading the Bible within such a context that is conscious of other Sacred Text traditions, whether Islamic or African Indigenous Texts. It promises to be another fascinating conversation at the Roundtable! Join us.

The Pan-African Theology Roundtable is a project of Missio Africanus and African Theology Worldwide.
