Join us for the next edition of the monthly Pan-African Theology Roundtable featuring guest speaker Ms Pearl Biyela. Ms Biyela will explore the Holy Spirit's pivotal role in propelling the authentic mission of the Christian Church in Africa. Considering Africa's multicultural context and its historical exposure to colonialism, Ms Biyela will underscore the importance of contexualising missiological efforts and emphasise the discernment of spirits in authentic mission endeavours. Besides, she will explore the relationship between the concepts of "spirit" and "power" and examine how some African churches interpret the Holy Spirit's power in transforming traditional power structures. It promises to be another evening of stimulating conversation.
