In the November edition of the Roundtable, Dr Gift Mtukwa from Africa Nazarene University, Kenya, will explore the connection in 1 Peter between holy living and the mission of God's people, emphasising that holiness is integral to Missio Dei. He will be drawing on African Biblical Hermeneutics and Shona proverbs about imitation and resemblance to examine how Peter's portrayal of holiness aligns with cultural understandings of moral example. He will argue that holiness is foundational to embodying and advancing God's mission in our world. It promises to be yet another stimulating conversation, and we look forward to having you around!
The Pan-African Theology Roundtable is a project of Missio Africanus and African Theology Worldwide.
